Aren't you sick of people telling you that? How much more they accomplished than you financially when they were like you. This usually comes from parents telling you that when you don't have a job or when you don't make a lot of money or just aren't doing good. The truth is, your parents can say whatever they want, but they forget that back then (assuming 60's-early 80's) It was much easier to get a job, "work hard" or own a business. They in no way had the economic pressure we face today, we are expected to make a life decision when we start high school. Thats why I don't believe in tracking student programs. If your parents were teenagers during the 60's to 80's most likely they had it really easy with, school ( tuition was much cheaper) finding work, or a opening business. Now we have reached almost a peak in our economy, banks no longer save you money but ripp you off your ass with with all of those hidden fees. Don't even get me started with insurance companies. The economy is a cycle, this pressure we have today is expected. It happened in the 1920's and then things got better, now were getting back to that (but not with as much casualty as before) But most likely your children will have it easy. Assuming the whole world doesn't fuck itself over with environmental and political problems, thats a whole other story. All in all, were born at a shitty time.
